Quinones was born in Chicago before moving to Los Angeles in the '70s, becoming a member of Toni. He rose to fame in the 1980s as one of the most well-known and legendary breakdancers on the West Coast after starring in 'Breakin'' and 'Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo' (both 1984). The father of two was formerly married to Gwendolyn Powell Smith and actress Lela Rochon.In addition to film and television roles, Quiñones also served as a choreographer to popular artists like Lionel Richie, Madonna, and Luther Vandross, and was a primary dancer and main choreographer for Madonna’s “Who’s That Girl?” Tour in 1987. He led tour dancers and choreographed for artists including Luther Vandross, Madonna, Lionel Richie and Three Six Mafia.
